In March 2019, two of the global leaders in business and consumer telecommunication solutions have merged together as one, under a new brand named Poly, aiming at “modernizing the way people work.”
Joe Burton, now President and CEO or Poly, explains in a blog post what lies behind the vision of their new future as Poly. “As we chart our path forward, Poly will focus on four distinct areas of innovation:
- Making workspaces intuitively work for everyone.
- Helping people collaborate, their way
- Designing solutions that are mobile-first for the modern workforce
- Advancing cloud services that help IT pros and users get more out of their devices.
With advancements in AI, machine learning and new technologies, we see a future where Poly will make the connection, then quietly step out of the way to become the one thing you don’t notice in the meeting. With our heritage in endpoints, we are uniquely suited to be the best partner provider for communicating in many ways, from one to many.”

Along with a new company name and branding, a new Poly site was launched showcasing the vision behind the new powerful brand. However, as of March 2019, both Plantronics and Polycom standalone sites are still live.
The first official Poly marketing campaign has launched with a bang in April 2019, focusing on the “Perils of the Open Office”, backed with an up-beat video showcasing the many ways modern open offices fail us.
Adapting technology to the modernization of how we do business will be the focus of most telecommunication solutions providers for years to come, including SENSUS. We’re happy to see that our manufacturers’ visions align perfectly with SENSUS’ goal to make people Love their Conversations.
